Creating
tangible three-dimensial objects from visions and concepts is my
greatest ambition. My sculptures are permanent and personal statements
that will outlive me and, hopefully, add to this world's beauty.

Jill
Hoffman - Kowal
Mixed media paintings, feathers &
sculpted papers, poetry paintings, rubbings, photorealism paintings and
black & white photography.
The unifying theme of Jill's work is conceptual. It has to do with the
experiment of the materials, texture, energy as opposed to imagery. Her
work is about energy that goes into her paintings. |

Melancon
My paintings are prompted by the mystical aspects of personal
experiences and observations that began in childhood dealing with the
likes of nature, early cultures, war-games, spinning tops and shooting
marbles. I see the making of my art as a felicitous investigation into
parts of my life and analogous to an archaeological dig. Just view the
muted earth tones contrasted with bold color, stimulating textures and
3-D components in images having multiple layers of meaning. I
definitely have a passion for process, composition and the painterly
surface.

Florence Putterman
In their ebullience and unaffected optimism, the paintings of Florence
Putterman recall the free wheeling inventiveness of the early
Modernists. Having broken all the rules of painting, those pioneers of
abstraction fashioned a new artistic language with which to express the
remarkable changes sweeping in with the dawn of the twentieth century.

Susan
Reinemeyer
Art is an obsession for me. Even when I've had full time jobs that were
not art-related, there has been an inner need to create that would not
be ignored. I can barely contain it. I am an optimist, and my style
reflects that attitude. I am drawn to hopeful, uplifting subjects,
sometimes with a touch of whimsy. If my work makes you smile, then I've
achieved my goal.

styles into each piece. |

My woodwork can range from a very functional design, to a design
blending function and art. The key is what works in the environment and
what makes one comfortable. Simple or flamboyant, natural wood or
painted finish. I have a very large cache of finishes to choose from,
and can simulate most samples one might bring me. So, whatever the
need, whether it be an entertainment center or a small piece to fill
and architectural niche, I can help you make your home more beautiful,
comfortable and livable. |

Daniel
Petrov
People are my preferred motif. I paint people who stimulate me,
forceful personalities.
I also frequently portray myself. Painting a single portrait of a
subject doesn't satisfy me.
Usually I produce an extensive series, examining various nuances in
manner and mood.
Ultimately I depict emotional states. Those of my subjects as well as
my own. |

Nature and a desire to share its beauty with others is the focus of my
work.
Capturing children in candid shots helps me view their joyful
spirit. Fascinated by faces of all ages, I try to catch
glimpses
of the inner personality. Photography is my medium, sometimes
tempered with digital imagery. |

Gail White

beauty found in nature with man-made forms and pattern. She combines a

Tim
Raines
My work is guided by my infinite enthusiasm for exploration.
Exploration can and should take many forms - from the random road trip
to discovering your own Self. In my art, I'm particularly fascinated by
the role physics plays in the way paint forms on the canvas, interacts
with other paints and reacts when manipulated by anything from a brush
to fingers. Historically, my art was focused solely on "ultra realism"
and illustration but over time, I have found abstract just as rewarding
to complete but far more exciting to create. |
Robert Lovejoy
I create bold paintings expressing my love of puns, icons and symbols,
often incorporating an unexpected jolt or surprise. My aim is to show
the viewer an oblique, colorful, thoughtful and meaningful view of the
world. The depictions may emerge as serious, amusing or sometimes both
at the same time! I wish to gently persuade the viewer into seeing the
world from a slightly different perspective! |
