planned giving options allow you to ensure Art Center Sarasota's future

Gifts of Immediate Value
A winter home, stock portfolio, or work of art
owned for a long period of time may have appreciated in value so that
its sale would result in a sizable tax on the gain. If given outright
to Art Center Sarasota, you avoid this capital gains tax and at the
same time realize a charitable deduction for the full fair market value
of the property.
Gifts of Future Value
Real estate can be used as a gift of future
value in a retained life estate. For example, you may give your house
to Art Center Sarasota with the legal agreement that you will live
there and pay property taxes, maintenance, and insurance until your
