"4000 Miles" by Amy Herzog

The New York Times calls "4000 Miles"  "a funny, moving, altogether wonderful drama" about how a young man who has suffered a major loss seeks solace from his fiesty 91 year old grandmother.  Over the course of a single month, these unlikely roommates infuriate, bewilder and ultimately reach each other. "A heartening reminder that a keen focus on life's small moments can pay off in a big way."

"Dead Man's Cell Phone" by Sarah Ruhl

An incessantly ringing cell phone in a quiet cafe.  A stranger at the next table who has had enough.  And a dead man --with a lot of loose ends.  So begins this wildely imaginative comedy by the MacArthur "Genius" Grant recipient and Pulitzer Prize finalist Sarah Ruhl.  "Beguiling...and bizarrely moving." -Charles Isherwood, New York Times.
