THE SPIRIT OF AMERICA: WATERCOLORS BY JUDY SALTZMAN
Judy Saltzman creates vibrant and expressive watercolor paintings that explore the melding of realism and impressionistic style to create visual intricacy while adding layers of color for harmony. This inspirational body of work consists of a series of triptychs where “the viewer will be transported into a visual panorama of protected areas of ecologically significant,” says Saltzman. “Imagery of our treasured landscapes help to preserve scenic resources for all generations. Conservation groups strive to protect our sacred national parks and conservation areas. ‘Spirit of America’ is an artistic celebration of these national treasures which are becoming endangered.”
Saltzman is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and the American Society of Marine Artists. She has exhibited in the National Watercolor Society, American Watercolor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society, and the Florida Watercolor Society. She was the featured artist in the “The Art of Watercolour,” “The National Watercolor Artist Magazine,” and “The Artist's Magazine.”
#Floridacollective: INSTAGRAM PHOTOGRAPHY GROUP EXHIBITION
The Florida Collective is an Instagram group (Instagram Link) comprised of 28 members. The group encourages members to help each other to grow in their art form and offers weekly challenges to push them out of their comfort zone. This exhibition will showcase photographs of landscapes, portraits and other images of Florida by 16 members of the group.
The Florida Collective was created in order to form a community where photographers of all skill levels were welcome to join. Whether you shot with your iPhone, just picked up your first DSLR camera, or had been shooting professionally for a decade everyone came together collectively to help each other collaborate, learn, share, and grow as photographers. By creating focused group chats and organizing local workshops/meet ups, what started from only a handful of followers on Instagram has now grown to almost 1000 Florida photographers.

All artwork will be recycled at the close of the exhibition.
