Local Artist Workshops
An Immersive Learning Experience
Workshops are 1-3 day immersive courses taught by talented local artist instructors for beginner to advanced students, most workshops require students to purchase supplies. Scholarships are available.
A $100 nonrefundable deposit will reserve your spot for workshops $175 and higher. Full payment is due 60 days before the start of the workshops. Call 941-365-2032 for reservations.
A $50 nonrefundable deposit will reserve your spot for workshops less than $175. Full payment is due 30 days before the start of the workshops. Call 941-365-2032 for reservations.

Classes: Commit to Improving Your Art
Weekly Classes Meet for 3-Week to 6-Week Sessions
Watch your skill and technique improve each week as you learn from talented local artists and experienced instructors. Students are required to purchase their own supplies for most classes. Scholarships are available.

Open Studio Sessions
Grow creatively with fellow artists
Open Studios
Bring your talent and dedication - studio space is available for artists to work on their skills without a teacher, surrounded by art and fellow artists. Studios are set up in 3-5 week sessions throughout the season.
Classes may be pro-rated starting one week prior to the first day of class. For more information: info@artsarasota.org

Life Sessions
Open Studio - Life Sessions with Live Models
Bring your talent and dedication - studio space is available for artists to work with live models during open sessions on select Wednesday mornings or Saturday afternoons. Students will have a choice of space for table or easel work, and with a draped or undraped model.
The cost is $15 for members per session, and $20 for nonmembers. Registration opens the 15th of the month for the upcoming month.
Life Sessions VIP cards ($90 for 8 sessions) are for members only and available by phone: 941-365-2032. Students planning to use their Life Sessions VIP card must call ahead or sign up in person, so we can accommodate seating and models. Click here to join us as a member.
Open Studio sessions are nonrefundable.
Please note that by attending an in-person class or workshop at Art Center Sarasota you voluntarily assume all risks associated with exposure to COVID-19.
Refund Policy
REFUNDS/WITHDRAWAL Refunds are given only by providing written notice of withdrawal before the last day to withdraw. Emails should be sent to info@artsarasota.org. Fees will be refunded less the non-refundable deposit. Open Studio fees are nonrefundable.
Last day to withdraw for a refund: CLASSES/WORKSHOPS (local) - 30 DAYS before first day of class; VISITING ARTIST WORKSHOPS - 60 DAYS before first day of workshop
WITHDRAWAL after the last day: Written notice must be given if you need to withdraw from a class/workshop. If written notice is given after the last day to withdraw (see dates above), the class/workshop cost (fee) and the non-refundable deposit will not be refunded. If there is a wait list for the class/workshop at the time of withdrawal and we are able to fill your spot within 10 days, all fees minus a $35 administration charge will be returned. Art Center Sarasota understands that last minute emergencies, illnesses, or conflicts come up that cannot be controlled. Due to administrative and contract expenses on the part of the Art Center, we are not able to make exceptions. Art Center Sarasota has binding contracts with instructors that have to be fulfilled.
