ENROLLMENT: Students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Waitlists are not available. Classes are not prorated. 

New programs may be added as the season progresses. Program titles, instructors, fees, dates, times and online or in person status are subject to change. Please check the website and newsletters for updates. Questions? Please call 941-365-2032.

REFUNDS/WITHDRAWAL: Last day to withdraw for a refund is 30 DAYS before the first day of the program.

Refunds are given only by providing written notice of withdrawal before the last day to withdraw. Emails should be sent to Peter@artsarasota.org. Fees will be refunded less a $35 administration fee. If written notice is given after the last day to withdraw, the program cost will not be refunded. 

Art Center Sarasota understands that last minute emergencies, illnesses, or conflicts come up that cannot be controlled. Due to administrative and contract expenses on the part of the Art Center, we are not able to make exceptions.

ART CENTER CANCELLATION OF CLASS/WORKSHOP: In the event that a program is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment or the teacher requests cancellation, all fees will be refunded for students who are currently registered for the class/workshop. Students who have withdrawn before the cancellation will not be refunded.

AGE: Students ages 16 and older are welcome in classes, workshops, lectures, and events. Students must be 18 to attend “Life Sessions” or Open Studios.

SUPPLY LISTS: Supply lists are posted on the Art Center Sarasota website on the class or workshop listing page and available per the students request to be sent via email. If you are unable to obtain a supply list from the website, please contact the Center and we will have a copy for you to pick up at the front desk. Students are responsible for supplying and acquiring their own supplies unless noted.

LIFE SESSIONS: Life sessions are for members only. The minimum age for participating artists is 18. ABSOLUTELY NO photography is permitted during Life Sessions. Pre-registration is required. No walk-ins. No refunds. Each session will have an undraped and/or a costumed model. There is no teacher.

NEWSLETTER & PHOTO RELEASE: Students attending workshops, classes and parents of campers will be added to the Art Center Newsletter and the Education Newsletter email list. Email addresses, phone numbers and mailing addresses are confidential information that is used for Art Center purposes only. Art Center staff will be taking pictures during events. These images may be used by the Art Center for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be included in photographs, please inform any photographer present.

ZOOM EDUCATION RELEASE:
Online workshops/classes/demonstrations/events are facilitated through Zoom. Art Center Sarasota is in EST. Art Center Sarasota is not responsible if a student is unable to attend due to illness, computer problems, forgetting, etc. No refunds for missed days will be given on online education.

HEALTH AND SAFETY: By attending a class/workshop/event at Art Center Sarasota you voluntarily assume all risks associated with exposure to COVID-19.
