Partners: Visual & Performing Arts

Art Center Sarasota has collaborated with the performing arts group, “Theatre of the Mind” to present a dramatic reading of Lunch with Mrs. Baskin in one of its galleries. A romantic comedy by Sam Bobrick, Lunch with Mrs. Baskin sold out quickly. Plans are in place for their next collaboration The Importance of Being Earnest on March 20, 2022.

The Art Center was the first arts organization in Sarasota, and part of its mission to serve the creative community includes thoughtful partnering for special events - in addition to providing contemporary exhibitions, educational programs, and member and local artist support.
