MEET GAIL EISENFELD
Paperweaving, Painting, and Sculpture Artist
Gail Eisenfeld-Hansen studied at the Art Students League of New York, National Academy of Design School and the School of Visual Arts. Recognized as a Centennial Artist by Art Center Sarasota in 2026, she actively exhibits her work, teaches paperweaving workshops, and continues to push the boundaries between painting, paper, and sculpture.
“My work often begins with a question: What happens if I try this? That might mean rolling paint onto canvas, cutting up a drawing, using neon colors, or weaving painted papers together in unexpected ways. Through these processes, I discover new relationships between color, texture, structure, and chance.”
