Meet Joyce Zimmerman

Dancer, Artist, Creative Spirit

Joyce Zimmerman is a mixed media artist with strong ties to expressive dance movement. Her authentic art process continued to evolve after studying in the late 70s with an esteemed Jungian therapist. Joyce's works center around dreams and mark making with her non-dominant hand to access the dormant aspects of her creative spirit. While living in Massachusetts, Joyce won a grant through the state and the Monroe Center for the Arts to create a series of workshops based on the teachings of Carl Jung and life experiences. She also taught similar workshops at the DeCordova Museum School. She recently published her book of poetry, prose, and art: The Poets Eye.
