Welcome to the creative and surprisingly addictive world of beading! This introductory course covers the essential tools, materials, and techniques you’ll need to get started with confidence.
Learn how to begin a project, add new thread, securely attach clasps, and troubleshoot common mistakes. We’ll explore classic bead-weaving techniques including Peyote stitch, Right Angle Weave, and netting, while working with a variety of seed bead sizes to create texture, dimension, and eye-catching three-dimensional effects.
Along the way, you’ll develop practical skills for correcting errors, removing unwanted beads, and keeping your work neat and secure. Whether you’re completely new to beadwork or looking to strengthen your foundational skills, this course will give you the techniques and confidence to start creating your own beaded designs
