COVID-19 SAFETY AT ART CENTER SARASOTA

Art Center Sarasota is a member of #SafeArtsSarasota initiative spearheaded by the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County.

Statement: With events beginning to take place in theaters and venues across the area, leaders of Sarasota County’s major arts organizations have announced updated protocols as they prepare to welcome audiences back.

Note: Protocols will be revisited and may be revised based on CDC guidance and the evolving circumstances of the pandemic, including use of additional screening protocols.

  • Students, teachers, models, and staff may be asked to voluntarily provide a negative PCR, Rapid COVID test (within 48 hours of class) or proof of vaccination prior to attending a class or workshop.

  • Masks are encouraged for anyone entering the facility. Including children over the age of two. For visitors who forgot or do not have a proper facemask one will be provided.

  • ACS offers a variety of virtual Zoom classes, workshops, and events for those uncomfortable being in public spaces.

  • Please do not come to the Art Center if you, in the past 24 hours, have experienced any of the following symptoms: fever (>100.4 °F), cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath.

  • Please do not come to the Art Center if you have been in close contact with or cared for someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or suspected to have COVID-19 or its variants.

  • Please exercise social distancing while indoors when possible.

  • Our HVAC systems are regularly maintained. All areas of the galleries and classrooms are regularly cleaned and sanitized, with special attention to high-touch, high-traffic areas.

  • To promote a touchless experience, our season catalog and other programming information is available electronically on our website for download, and sent via email to members and participants. Subscribe to our newsletter for up to date information and announcements.
