Learn about the history and create a work of Ikebana, the Japanese art of floral arranging. Ikebana means "making flowers come alive," and is a mindful and meditative art form that balances structure and mathematics with visual poetry and feeling.
You will learn to look at nature and flowers in a different way, and come away from the workshop having created your own arrangement to adorn your space or for a gift, along with digital images of your work and materials to use to continue your practice beyond the day.
All skill levels welcome. Space is limited.
